I love that we have a fire pit in our backyard.(no need for camping) It makes a fun night! Now that it is fall, and it has turned chilly, it has made it the best time for a campfire!
My idea of roughing it is a hotel on the beach and a waiter that brings me foo foo drinks with those little umbrellas!
I have never seen the appeal to go somewhere outdoors, pitch a tent, cook and clean, not have a decent shower, possibly run into a wild creature or get poison oak, and consider that a vacation. LOL That only makes me crabby!

I'm with ya there, babe! I've always said my idea of "camping and roughing it" is a Motel Six with a Denny's next door.
We have a chiminea in our courtyard and love it, too.
