Thursday Kyleigh and I went with a bunch of other moms and daughters to go see the musical Anne! It was wonderful. (My sister Lori knows how much I love that show...LOL) This was a nice way to end our summer. School starts Tuesday :(
What a fun thing to do! One of the best birthday gifts Lori ever gave me was tickets for the same night to see the Broadway production of The Sound of Music. You're never too old for musicals that you loved as a kid! Ellie will definitely be watching Annie and The Sound of Music in a few years :-)
Okay, this is Lori, Barbs sister here - for those of you who don't already know the story, one of the biggest memories I have of her as a child is watching "Annie" on HBO. She watched it OVER and over and over and over and over and over....and then all over again.
Two things could be assured. That the sun would come out tomorrow, and another showing of Annie would be played.
Music Appreciation 101... The day after "Annie," Kyleigh got to watch the 1st half of "Sound of Music" with her Grandpa Clark & Grandma Donna. This wonderful young lady LOVES musicals!
